Audit:
Shelter has an independent department controlled by a coordinator to maintain transparent accounts
called Finance & Accounts department. This centrally controlled department controls and advices the
accounts of different projects. An Audit department works to maintain the transparency of accounts of different programs. Each year each department is audited and the reports are submitted. The concerned department takes necessary initiatives based on reports. Besides, in accordance to advice of the GoB Organizations accounts are calendar yearly audited by external auditors Irshadulla Patwary & Co. Chartered Accountants. The firm is NGOAB approve CA firm. CA farm is appointed in the AGM. They work independently and audit, and submit financial & management report. Besides, in different projects audit work is done as per donors’ desire.
Bank Account:
First all fund receive organization mother account and after transfer projects account. As par projects
financial guideline. But can’t transfer without NGOAB approve for foreign fund to the projects accounts.
